At GolfScape Vegetation Design & Management, we are a dedicated team led by brothers Ben Burke and Robert Burke, united by our shared passion for both golf and the environment. With a deep-rooted appreciation for the game and the natural world, we strive to create exceptional golf course experiences that honor the beauty of indigenous vegetation.
With 10 years of experience working at some of Victoria’s premier golf courses, including Kingston Heath, Metropolitan, Yarra Yarra, Woodlands amongst others, Ben brings a unique blend of industry expertise and academic excellence. Holding a Bachelor of Environmental Science with Honours and a Master’s in Sustainability, he is passionate about integrating sustainable practices within the golfing industry.
As a co-founder of GolfScape Ben brings a strong background in both environmental science and golf course management positioning him to make a meaningful impact on sustainability efforts in the sector, with a commitment to preserving and enhancing natural landscapes that suit the expectations of golfers and the environment alike.
Robert is a vegetation specialist with experience managing native golf landscapes on Melbourne’s Sandbelt. His expertise extends internationally, having conducted environmental fieldwork in Brazil, where he gained hands-on experience in diverse ecosystems. Robert holds a Master of Environments from the University of Melbourne, where he focused on agroforestry and sustainable land management.
As a co-founder of GolfScape, he is passionate about enhancing golf course ecology, integrating native vegetation, and creating sustainable landscapes that benefit both the game and the environment.
